I’m a 25 year old Canadian guy who’s been done University now for a couple of years and hasn’t really done a lot with his life or his degree.

I recently missed an opportunity to visit Mexico (http://tribes.tribe.net/roblito) because of my own (and my Mother’s, a persuasive force not to be underestimated) fears and uncertainty. But there is hope! I’ve always had a dream to backpack across Europe.

I’ve talked about it for years. Planned, talked, and then not followed through. Now however I’ve taken a leap of faith and I leave for Ireland on May 9th 2007. I’ve done a little online networking so I’ve got some folks meeting me at the airport and taking me to their farm to live/work for a while before I move on to the next stop. My plan is to spend a year bumming around Europe living out of my backpack. I don’t have a lot of money saved so I’m going to have to rely heavily upon the kindness of strangers and my own good karma.

I don’t know how things will turn out, but I’m looking forward to finding out!

Love the room, glad I’ve got something I could contribute!
