I am making a zine on broken hearts and conscious relating.
The intention is to create some sort of practical guide to assist people in healing and to ultimately propose forms of relating that help minimize the amount of pain in relationships, current or ending. By relating more consciously we can experience so much more and live to the fullest!
some topics that the zine still needs covered are:
unconditional love (what it is, how to balance it with boundaries)
communication (qualities of good communication, why communication is good, how to change your communication style)
compassion (the role of compassion in a break up and in communication)
dealing with and releasing pain (how to get through extremely painful moments, how to cleanse pain and not let it fester into resentment, meditations, exercises, activities to reduce pain)
anger (appropriate vs counterproductive releases of anger, how to not stay angry for a long time, keeping communication constructive while experiencing anger)
letting go (of expectations, illusions, unhealthy connections - what are rituals, meditations, life changes, changes in thought patterns that help us do this?)
growth (what comes out of a broken heart experience? how can you maximize this growth?)
self love (the role of self love in breakups, how to improve it)
becoming more conscious in all relations
fear (what is it, why does it hurt people, how can we work on ourselves to release fears and love fearlessly even when we have broken hearts?)
I am looking for submissions! Articles generally 1/2 page (but as long as you want really!), quotes, healing exercises, advice, meditations, etc.
If there is a topic that you think is important and should be included, but you don't want to write about it, please email it to me and perhaps i will write about it!
anything and everything can be sent to
brokenheartzine@yahoo.com
please help raise consciousness to make the world a more loving place <3
all submissions due Feb 15, 2005
(but the sooner you can send anything in the better - feel free to send topics, questions etc before)

This looks like an interesting project!
